Citrine Salon gives back to the community by instilling beauty and confidence.  We offer Locks of Love haircuts, for those wishing to give to disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss.  If you would like to donate 10 or more inches of natural hair, we will send the hair out for you.

 

Our salon has done service work at the Ronald McDonald House and contributed to Family House, as well as the Montessori School, Triangle Day School, Woods Charter School, Meadowmont Elementary, and St. Thomas Moore.

 

Donating to Hair for Booms (to help with the BP oil crisis)

We sent many boxes of hair to help in the cleanup effort. Hair has been proven to pick up oil the best (after all, the reason you shampoo your hair is to get the natural body's oil buildup out). Here is a video showing how all the donated hair is put to use:
